How to change the URL in a QR code after printing
If you printed a QR code on brochures, packaging, posters, or menus and the destination link changed, you have two options: reprint… or use a dynamic QR code.

Why QR code URLs are usually static
A traditional QR code encodes the final URL directly. Once it’s printed, the encoded data can’t be changed—so if the destination moves, the QR code breaks.
The fix: use a dynamic QR code (redirect)
Dynamic QR codes point to a short redirect link. You can update the redirect destination later (even after printing) from your dashboard.
Step-by-step
- Create a dynamic QR code in QRShuffle.
- Print it on your materials.
- When the link changes, update the destination in your QRShuffle dashboard.
- Optionally add UTMs + track scans.
